This projects explores themes of visible mending through the fixing of peoples clothes and furniture.
Using both the mend itself and the imagery surrounding it to create a body of work that connects people and their belongings within an art context.
In February 2022, I hosted an event, bringing together all the participants and their items before they disperse back into the world.
Clothing items will be worn by their owners, investigating the relationship between the gallery, the viewer and the participant.
